All-Singapore-Stuff (ASS) is being investigated for their Bullshit

Singapore’s fake news site, “All Singapore Stuff”, is being investigated for allegedly posting an article that claims the Police did not take any action after a report of underage sex was made. The article also claims that the Police even advised the girl to drop the case. The new report also made the claim that the girl’s school principal did not take her report seriously as well.

The investigation was initiated after a police report was “… lodged by a member of the public, whose identity is believed to have been misused as the contributor of the article.”

Is this a huge surprise? Nope.

“All Singapore Stuff” is well-known to be a fake-news site that intentionally posts exaggerated and often made up articles with sensational headlines on social media to attract attention (ie: “Clicks-to-website”) for generating web advertising revenue. Just look at their website - almost half of the page area is taken up by advertisements.

Articles are often written with a slant to stir up anti-PAP emotions with little regard to facts or the context of the situation, much like the defunct site “The Real Singapore”. Their “contributors” are almost always anonymous, and the articles are posted by an “editor” going by the name “Farhan”.

From time to time when their bull-shit is exposed, the site will simply defend themselves by claiming that any mistakes were “unintentional” and that the article/information was based on “contributions” from their readers - thus shifting their responsible for posting nonsense to all  to the "anonymous contributor". How convenient, isn't it?
In Nov 2016, “All Singapore Stuff” posted a alarmist article claiming that there was a collapse of the top floors of a HDB block in Punggol. The article went viral and caused so much public alarm that the police and SCDF were dispatched to investigate.

Which idiot you want to bluff? Building collapse and the first thing that "Bhagonwali" wants people to know is that BTO owners are unhappy about workmanship of their flats? What about those resident's safety and well-being? Was anyone hurt? Are there people still trapped? Have the authorities been notified? Aren't these points more pertinent to the news of the "collapse"?

This outrageous hoax was immediately debunked by both the HDB as well as Punggol residents on the same day. In this particular case, how hard would it be for the site editors to fact-check this "reader contribution" before posting it?

It is obvious that such an serious incident as a HDB floor collapsing would have immediately been reported to the police, SCDF, HDB etc. It would have been easy for the site to confirm the story.

But did the editor think or bother to check with the HDB, police or SCDF to verify the story?

Nope. Clearly All Singapore Stuff's priority was to first post the story first on their social media in order to drive web traffic to their site. Fact-checking is clearly not important to them, even in a situation as potentially serious and tragic as a building collapse.

As usual, “All Singapore Stuff” merely replaced the article with an "apology" and once again used the excuse that they were also taken in by the hoax, and conveniently shifted the hoax's responsibility to their "readers' contributions".

Facts and Truth be damned. Web-clicks and making money are more important to the people hiding behind sites like "All Singapore Stuff”

Sure, they've 'apologised' the spreading the hoax. But they have already benefited financially from the deluge of worried web-clicks to their website.

Their revenue model is essentially driven by clicks and eyeballs to their website. So the more hyped up and viral their posts are, the more web advertising revenue is created for the people behind sites like “All Singapore Stuff” and "States Time Review".

Just look at the amount of space dedicated to just advertisements (indicated by the red boxes) on and compare that to the space their actual "apology" takes up (shown by the blue box) on their HDB hoax 'apology' page. Even when apologizing for their "mistakes", they are still making money from you!

It was really only a matter of time before “All Singapore Stuff” crossed the line in their quest to boost their site’s popularity with the most outrageous anti-PAP rhetoric articles possible, as shown in this latest incident.

Will this mark the beginning of the end for “All Singapore Stuff”?

SDP's Chee Soon Juan has been caught lying yet again

So Singapore Democratic Party Sec-Gen Chee Soon Juan has been caught posting a video on social media (on 27 Feb 2017) that selectively cuts a snippet of PM Lee's Election Rally speech in 2015 and spins it totally out of context this world universe.

Screen-capture of Chee Soon Juan's FB post (27 Feb 2017)

Sarcastic remarks posted (28 Feb 2017) Seems like they don't even realise that their lie has already been exposed.

'Fabrications Led By Opposition Parties' (FLOP) FB page spotted the video and made a video of their own to expose Chee Soon Juan's lie.

Video: FLOP FB page

So what was PM Lee actually talking about when he said, "... I write checks, tomorrow someone else can pay..."?

Here is an extract of the Channel NewsAsia report about what PM Lee was referring to when he made that statement during that Election Rally in 2015.

Mr Lee also emphasised Singapore’s politics should take care of its people not just for today, but also tomorrow.
“I write checks, tomorrow someone else can pay – anybody can do that. But if I want to worry about tomorrow also, then I have to trade off sacrifice, plan and work hard. And actually only the PAP does this,” he said. “For the Opposition parties, tomorrow is after the GE. Worry later.”
There have been many ideas from the opposition parties, Mr Lee, noted, ranging from free health care to S$300-handouts for the old and the young; plus “a minimum wage, and if it means unemployment, never mind, give money for unemployed also”.
Ask for who would pay for all this, Mr Lee said their argument is: “Companies can pay, rich people can pay, and if this is not enough the reserves got money, hundreds of billions of dollars, wah!”
He cited a Chinese proverb which means “sit there and eat corn, one day the mountain is gone and you will starve”.
“If it’s so simple, why do you think the PAP is not doing all this? We are so stupid?” Mr Lee said. “Certainly we would be more popular, and the Opposition would have fewer subjects to make speeches. But would we have built this Singapore? Would we have the toughness to continue to fight for Singaporeans and our children’s future?”
Mr Lee concluded: “So I ask for your trust, your support, your mandate. Vote for what you believe in, vote for the candidate you trust, vote for the party which has never let you down. We will work and fight for Singapore.”

We wonder why SDP and Chee Soon Juan persists on taking things out of context and lying to Singaporeans. In today's Information age, such lies are easily exposed through a simple Google search.

Oh wait.. that's right. Chee told us himself: "Character is Permanent".

A liar will always be a liar.

Somebody's (A.S.S) gonna get hurt real bad

Screen-capture from Google Cache. (Note: Hoax text and Bull-shit logo added by us)

So in other news which is as fake as Trump University, we see All Singapore Stuff aka A.S.S posting a really sensationally fake article today (11 Nov) about the roof of Punggol Waterway Terraces collapsing.

In addition to the picture, this is what the article said.

According to Mothership, it seemed real enough that the authorities (police, SCDF) went to the building to investigate.

As it turns out, HDB has posted on its Facebook pageconfirming that the article put up by A.S.S is a hoax., and that a police report will be made soon.

The article has since been taken down but you can still see it on Google Cache here.

What else is there to say?

Except perhaps....

Well, good luck A.S.S. Your ASS is gonna get hurt soon need it.

The Disgusting and Morally-bankrupt Opposition personalities in Singapore

So PM Lee stumbled, appeared to have been fainting or ill during his annual National Day Rally speech.

And immediately, we see our two opposition MP-wannabees clowns personalities posting heartless remarks on social media.

S'pore Democratic Party Chief Chee Soon Juan's original Tweet

Reform Party Chief Kenneth Jeyaretnam's original Tweet

You can disagree on everything that your political opponent does or say. You can (figuratively speaking) fight tooth and nail over policy.

But when you have to resort to wishing illness and death on them simply just to advance your political agenda and score points with your supporters, you are simply exposing your own immature disposition and shallowness of character to the rest of Singapore.

It does not matter what your political views or preference is, Singapore cannot afford to elect such unprincipled and immature people into Parliament.

CSJ's same FB posting which was subsequently amended, and amended and amended...

KJ deleted his original tweet after suffering backlash on Tweeter but obviously he is still unapologetic for his original tweet as evidenced by his subsequent excuses. Is this the sort of person whom you want representing Singaporeans in Parliament?

Update (23 Aug)
The Independent SG is trying to make excuses for KJ.

Pic: Shut Down TRS - Guess TISG and Kenneth think Singaporeans are stupid to believe that Kenneth Jeyaretnam's insensitive twitter post is due to him thinking it was an autocue error that caused PM Lee to falter!!

What else can be said about KJ and CSJ, except for this?

SDP Supporter ASS - makes an ass of themselves

Via Singapore Matters

It's hard to know how much of what you read from SDP is true and how much of it is fake.

Like this one.

Mothership reported in September 2015 during GE2015 that a voter gave CSJ $100 for ice-cream and a vote of confidence.

That same note made its re-appearance in the by-election this year as an expression of suppport for CSJ in Bukit Batok.

Old news recycled as new. Makes you wonder if the note and the $100 donation is also a fabrication of SDP.

By FAP
Singapore Democratic Party (SDP)'s supporters are good with online publicity stunt, I give you that. But paper cannot cover up fire. What's faked will remain fake. A Cheapskate publicity stunt of trickery.

But $100 is too little. Chee Soon Juan 徐顺全 wanted Ji Pak Ban. $1 Million. To think that Chee would take this $100 to buy haagen dazs ice cream while this "supporter's baby" would go without milk is just disgusting.

very re-LIAR-able gutter politics.

SAF sends its parachutes to PRC for packing

Hahaha.. this has got to be this week’s most stupid Oppie supporter post I've seen.

And obviously, how can our biased alternative media resist sharing such a sensational story rumour?

Please lah Leslie, don’t come and talk cock. Who you trying to bluff?

You “painfully struggled” over this for “2 days”?  How did you “painfully struggle”?

Was it very painful to simply clarify with your “brother-in-arms” what he said or actually meant? Were you certain he was not pulling your leg, by trying to trick you with a play on the term “PRC”?

In any case, you are making a very serious claim here, not to mention you are also implying that the Commandos have no professionalism.

Don’t you think you have a responsibility to verify the facts of the matter before you let loose your “anguish” online? Do you and/or your "Brother-In-Arms" have any hard evidence to back up this claim?

Or is it a case of "He say" "I heard" "I thought"?  If so, then who blardy confirmed it?

Besides, if you are so concerned about operational security and leaking out our defense capabilities, do you think it is appropriate to be sharing your concerns on such matters on the Internet?

What happen to the chain of command? Did you or your “brother-in-arms” actually try to clarify the facts of the matter and put forward your/his concerns internally first?

Bro, as we say in the army - don’t ASSUME and make an ASS out of U and ME.

Have a look at this very comprehensive article by Lovely Singapore on this matter. It explains very clearly why it is likely that Leslie Ang has been tricked and/or kena sabo/made up this fairy tale.

Update: Here's what the Chief Commando Officer, Colonel Simon Lim says (12 jan 2015):

So from his statement, the facts of the matter are:
  1. SAF Riggers are STILL fully deployed.
  2. Parachute-packing function is outsourced to a local company.
  3. Many of ST’s parachute-packing staff themselves are former Riggers. (where got PRC contractors??)
  4. SAF Master Rigger certifies ST’s staff to pack the parachutes, and closely supervises the packing process.
  5. Arrangement in place since 2010, and there have been zero parachute reliability issues.

I wonder what Leslie has to say. His original post would be what you would call "stir shit for the sake of stirring".

Look at rubbish site The Independent SG insisting that the riggers are outsourced to PRC (China) instead of PRC (Pasir Ris Camp) even after the clarifications by SAF.

Here we have the job ad from ST Electronics that clearly shows they are only hiring Singaporean parachute packers (Riggers) for the job. What does The Independent - Singapore has to say?

Workers Party's Bernard Chen Jiaxi tries yet again to claim credit

Shut Down TRS:
WP's Bernard Chen Jiaxi, can you be anymore shameless? Claiming credit from Tin Pei Ling? Why is it always so typical of WP to claim credit for the job done by PAP?

Singapore Matters:
Cock-a-doodle-do!

There goes Bernard Chen Jiaxi of Workers' Party taking credit for something in which he played no part.

The walkway was completed WEEKS AGO. MP Tin Pei Ling first post about the walkway in May 2015.
There was a statutory requirement for a power grid test and Ms Tin had been actively following up with LTA on this for the past WEEKS.

Don't you just hate it when you have been working hard to get something done and someone just come along and take credit for it when all the work has been done?

========================

PP's Notes:
Bernard Chen Jiaxi, WP's candidate for MacPherson SMC in GE2015, is no stranger to trying to create a false impression for his supporters via Facebook.

He was previously caught trying to impress the public that he had visited a charity organization to show his appreciation for their kind contributions to the community when he didn't. This lie was exposed by the charity themselves.

Workers Party & TOC tell a lie

WP better check their facts right before claiming the MRT Sleeper Replacement Programme should end in 2012.

Looks like our dear TOC is a mouth piece of WP. Spreading misinformation without checking on the facts too!

FACT: Sleeper Replacement Programme only commenced back in Nov 2012 and was scheduled to be completed by 2019. However, after implementing machines, the replacement of the sleepers accelerated, the deadline has now moved forward to 2016!

SMRT is pleased to announce that the company is making steady progress in its sleeper replacement programme. Specialized machinery, known as "Road-Rail Vehicles" (RRVs), have been mobilised to accelerate the programme. Originally scheduled for completion by 2019, the pace of replacement along both North-South and East-West Lines are expected to accelerate as more RRVs are deployed and utilized over the next few months, so that the work can be completed by 2016. - See more at: http://transport.asiaone.com/news/general/story/machines-accelerate-mrt-sleeper-replacement#sthash.AJMFx7L4.dpuf

WP and TOC are rubbish. Why can't they just base their statements on FACTS!

Must everything is twisted and spinned simply to oppose the Govt at all cost?

Double standards from Workers Party

So The Workers' Party banned netizen from their page and deleted comments as well just because they couldn't take a little bit of criticism concerning the IRC and a COI.

So tell us what is democracy and freedom of speech?

Squeaky Hammer caught squeaking

Source: Shut Down TRS Facebook
In the age where social media spreads news, both good and bad, like wild-fire; and the ease at which the facts of a situation could be just as easily verified or debunked by third parties, it does seem like common sense NOT to make up things, especially so if you are aspiring to be a politician.

It would seem that Bernard Chen, WP's candidate for MacPherson SMC in GE2015, has been caught out trying to give the impression that he visited a charity organization when he actually didn't.

Source: Talking Singapore
"Mr Chen, thank you for tagging us in your Facebook. Your presence at the walkway in front of our Senior Activity Centre at Blk 98 Aljunied Crescent before the General Elections 2015 via the sharing of your archived photo is noted.
Geylang East Home for the Aged

Here's what Talking Singapore had to say.
WP's Bernard Chen's misleading FB post out-ed by charity organization. Apparently the charity is unhappy with Bernard for posting an old photo implying that he had visited them on Sunday when he didn't.

Mr Chen must really be feeling that burn.. because the post and the pictures don't seem to be on his facebook account anymore.

Oh and in other squeaky news... WP has a "GE2015 candidates' lunch get-together at JJ's place" without some of their former MPs.
Source: Fabrications About The PAP

==========================
Notes
In GE 2015, MacPherson SMC saw a three-cornered fight between
(1) NSP’s Mr Cheo “new Mothers are a Weakness” Chai Chen
(2) PAP’s Tin “Kate spade” Pei Ling

(3) WP's Bernard “Thanks for tagging us” Chen

Tin Pei Ling won handsdown.

Lee Li Lian stood as a WP candidate for Punggol East SMC where it was widely expected that WP would hold on to that seat. However, Lee lost the seat to PAP's Charles Chong. The Punggol East seat is the PAP's closest win for SMCs.

The Elections Department had declared Lee Li Lian as one of the elected as Non-Constituency MPs (NCMPs) but she has publicly said that she will not take up NCMP post. WP released a statement of its own shortly after, saying the party's leadership backed Ms Lee's decision not to take up the seat.

Reform Party’s Jafri Basron Makes Sexist Comments Online

wow.... just wow.

No words can adequately express the "wow" at Jafri Basron's intellect.

Let's have a look at what he posted on Facebook on 12 Oct 2015.

If you do bother to look over his Facebook posts, you'll see that this post has managed to attract the most attention condemnation comments, some of which are pretty good.

And here is one of Jafri's response to the avalanche of criticisms.

But strangely enough, here is another of his Facebook post that seems to be rather supportive of what he calls "a born entrepreneur".

This is all quite revealing of Jafri's character, and what he actually stands for.

MustShareNews.com has an excellent write-up of Jafri's latest facebook gaffe. Have a read here:

Reform Party’s Jafri Basron Makes Sexist Comments Online, Baffled By Backlash

So who is Jafri Basron?

His Facebook profile lists him as a "Social Activist"... whatever that means. and apparently he was a one-time member of the Reform Party. Not sure if he still is. In any case, Jafri wasn't featured in RF's lineup for GE2015.

(Why does Reform Party attract all the weirdos like Jafri and Roy Ng? Don't they do any screening of potential members/candidates?)

===========================================

Update: 24 Oct 2015

This goondu is either an attention-whore or just plain stupid. Now he has gone and called those who do not support the opposition as cowards.
