It never fails to amuse me to see how much bullshit that Alex Tan Zhixiang can
In his latest series of holiday season jokes, he says that "... there isn't any money to be made from managing a website, you get by with only S$2000/mth on average and this is insufficient for you to survive...".
Wah... S$2000 per month leh.
And that's literally for doing nothing more than copy/pasting news articles from Straits Times, CNA etc, making up fake stories based on nothing more than a photo, inventing "reader submissions" and and then putting his golden bullshit spin on it and calling it "Quality independent credible journalism." - Puke!
I never knew bullshitting provides such a good income.
Oh, and he says it's not enough to survive on.
Wait,.. didn't he say before that in Australia, everything is so cheap compared to Singapore?
He then claims that he "don't trust" the other media websites in Singapore and implies that because these websites are "most probably paid by someone else".... "which is none other than the Singapore Government."
Editors of A.S.S are paid by the Singapore Government?? Really? Is that even remotely logical? Do you pay someone to smear you with half-baked lies and malicious rumours? In any case, there's little verifiable information about who the owners of A.S.S are.

It's a bit of a risk to say but I think it quite apparent that none of these sites have anything to do with the government directly.
And in reality, do you think a govt-funded website would be so slickly designed? Haven't you seen or used any of the gov.sg websites? Functional - yes. Informative - yes. Creative and hip design website - NO WAY.
It would seem that Alex Tan is implying that there is a conspiracy hidden here somewhere.
But then again, if you recall what he had said previously and you then realise the reason why he is trying to discredit the other sites.
All that bullshit about passion / hobby etc is just a smoke-screen to make himself look like such a self-sacrificing (zero) hero.
But in reality, it would seem that Alex Tan's latest bullshit website is NOT making him ENOUGH MONEY - only S$2000 per month.
If he was writing all these bullshit out of "passion" / "love for Singapore", and that he did not care for the click-ad income from his site, then I would challenge him to remove all the ad spaces. Will Alex Tan do that? hahaha... maybe when Alex Tan runs out of bullshit to write.
So it's time for Alex Tan to attack the other sites which have been drawing away his web traffic. Otherwise how will he ever afford a house in Sydney like his fellow TRS buddies did in Brisbane?
