Why is Alex Tan Zhixiang the King of Prawns?

Why prawns?

Simple...  because like a prawn, he has no Guts, no Spine and has a head that's full of Shit.

- Ring of Toilet Bowls - Symbolises his mighty potty mouth.
- Pinocchio nose & Crown -  Symbolises his tendency to blatantly lie online and his motto to "never tell the whole truth to anyone"

No Guts...

Online, Alex Tan is a well-known coward. He has no courage to stand up and fight for what he advocates, preferring to hide behind his websites.

For example, Alex Tan was seen, and photographed participating in the 2014 #ReturnMyCPF protest that disrupted and heckled the special-needs children who were performing at the YMCA charity event in Hong Lim park. He was also doing his part on Facebook (then profile "Alex Tan Zhixiang") to publicise the #ReturnMyCPF event.

However, after the event, when police reports were made, and investigations were started against the protest ringleaders, Alex Tan quickly started to disassociate himself from the protest - going even as far as claiming that he did not participate in the protests.

Read more about the #ReturnOurCPF that ended with protestors disrupting a charity event here:

Alex Tan is now the Admin and Editor of yet another crappy website 'The States Times Review' which was originally named as 'The Straits Times Review' for obvious reasons since STR references much of its article source plagiarizes from the Straits Times and spins it into anti-government shit articles.

When SPH, publisher of the Straits Times (ST), got wind of this, they accused STR of stealing its name from ST and threatened legal action against STR. Before you could say STR, Alex was already looking for a way out.

However, when confronted by an powerless intern whose essay was taken by Alex Tan without permission in 2012, Alex is all gangster, vulgar-mouth and refused to remove the article even after being asked to do so.

... No spine...

In my opinion, of all the current opposition wannabes in Singapore, Alex ranks as the lowest of the low. He even achieves a ranking that is lower than Han Hui Hui.

As mind-bogglingly irritating HHH is with her shrill, whiny voice - you still have to give her a tiny little bit of credit for standing up and facing trial for her public-nuisance charges related to the #ReturnOurCPF protests/YMCA fiasco.

Even Banana-boy Amos Yee had his day in Court to face up to his charges of circulating obscene imagery and "making remarks wounding the feelings of Christians" related to his LKY video. And as stupid as Amos's choice of refusing bail was, he actually willingly went to Remand Prison on the basis of (however misguided) his principles .

But how about Alex?

As far as we know, he was never held responsible by the authorities as part of the #ReturnOurCPF ring-leaders who heckled the YMCA Charity event in 2014.

Even though Alex is one of the founders of the defunct trashy website The Real Singapore, he wasn't charged with sedition, unlike his other co-founders, Yang Kaiheng and Ai Takagi, for promoting hostility amongst different races or classes in Singapore.

In fact, I don't think Alex is wanted for anything in Singapore. And it would seem from online comments that most are glad that he's left Singapore.

But here he is, trying to portray himself like some sort of a "political refugee" or escaped political prisoner.

...and A head that's full of Shit

Alex's head is full of shit. All you have to do is just look at what he says on Facebook and the many misleading, "half-true" articles he posts on States Times Review.

Alex's angst over anything SAF must come from his NS days where it was rumoured online that he was allegedly charged and send to the Detention Barracks.

Origins of Alex Tan's personal motto

You may disagree and even hate him. But is there a need to say such things?

In conclusion, Alex Tan well-deserves the crown of prawns and and States Times Review is nothing more than a collection of crap from Alex Tan.
