Amos says that he is
But strangely enough, all the usual anti-government / anti-PAP groups and personalities are really quiet where Amos is concerned.
Has anyone wondered what happened to all of Amos Yee's ardent supporters?
Earlier in July 2015, they were all out in full of force, showing their support for Amos, to the extent of holding a candlelight vigil for him, and even travelling all the way to Hong Kong to drum up support for Amos.
Seems to me (at least via their respective FB timelines & websites as of 28 Dec 2015) that they have stopped posting any news of Amos, including banana-boy's latest antic of being a "fugitive of the law".
As they say in hokkien, "Bo Xai, Bo Se" (literally translated "No Sound No Picture").
(1) Kenneth Jeyaretnam, Secretary-General of the Reform Party
Kenneth Jeyaretnam, had very strong words of support for Amos in June 2015 - calling him "Singapore's Youngest Political Prisoner". He even posted a picture of himself with duct-tape over his mouth and holding a 'FreeAmos' placard. LOL A quick scan of his FB page shows no mention of Amos since Sept 2015.
(2) Roy Ngerng Yi Ling (2015 Reform Party Candidate; YMCA Event 2014 Heckler)
Roy "ReturnOurCPF" Ngerng has nothing on his FB timeline about Amos since Sept 2015 too. His infamous blog of Charts, Tables and excessive dribble has nothing new since Sept too.
Gasp! Has Roy, who onced called Amos "Teacher", deserted Amos and left him to his fate? Well, maybe he's busy trying to think of ways to
Roy (33yr) regards Amos (17yr) as a "Teacher" Ho Say Bo?
(3) Jolovan Wham
How about Jolovan Wham - supporter of anything and everything related to "Freedom of Speech"? Nope, his FB timeline is also zero.
Even the "CAN" FB page, which describes itself as ".... a group of individuals and activists concerned about freedom of expression in Singapore. We came together because of A Yee.", hasn't even a squeak about Amos since August 2015.
Maybe Jolovan is really busy with other more
(4) Amos's International Supporters (lead by Goh Meng Seng & Han Hui Hui)
Even Goh Meng Seng and Han Hui Hui's respective FB pages have no recent mention of Amos.
Maybe the HK protesters are waiting for Goh Meng Seng and Han Hui Hui to go and
(5) MARUAH
The president of Maruah, a Human Rights NGO in Singapore, had
But the Maruah FB page has nothing recent on Amos too.
Looks like Maruah is more interested in
Maybe the harsh reality is this: That they have all come to realise Amos has got nothing to do with "freedom of speech" as what they love to champion. Amos has been using them all along to boost his attention-seeking ego.
And this also goes to show how "principled"our
PS: Yeah I know I said I won't post any more about Amos, unless he did something really
